An evening out with
about 28 of our parents and teachers combined gave us 4 strong teams entering
in the Whangaparaoa Golf Club quiz night. This was highly enjoyable evening
with lots of laughs and a good opportunity to meet other families from our
school. Team Twerkers (predominantly teachers representation) which is
apparently some sort of a dance, came 4th
equal with team ‘ In The Dark’ out of 20 tables entered. Team ‘Wentworth
Correctional Officers’ and ‘The Jaffas’ (boasting a large packet of Jaffa
sweets) weren’t far behind in the scoring. The highlight of the evening was Kim
and Jenny Brabant’s ticket being drawn for ‘play your cards right’ and
selecting all of the correct cards to win a whopping $610.00 – well done!
